Brand Experience Manager – SSA Zone

About the role

The Brand Experience Manager for the SSA zone will lead the development and execution of the brand strategy, ensuring alignment with L'Oreal’s international positioning while driving growth and consumer engagement across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and guide the zone’s brand strategy and 3‑year marketing plan, prioritising new launches, pillar product renewals and core catalogue activation.
• Collect, analyse and share consumer and market insights to inform product development and marketing mix decisions.
• Challenge and collaborate with the DMI on integrated marketing communications, digital, retail and 360° campaigns.
• Support country teams in creating locally relevant brand experiences and monitoring pillar product performance.
• Develop marketing expertise within countries by sharing best practices and coaching local teams.
• Own the brand patrimony, ensuring all actions uphold brand identity and purpose.
• Influence B‑to‑B strategy in partnership with retail and education teams.
• Ensure compliance of all marketing materials and oversee adaptation of communication assets.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of market and consumer insight, with the ability to translate trends into actionable strategies.
• Proven experience in brand development and integrated campaign execution.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices across teams.
• Ability to communicate clear messages to senior management and guide local teams.
• Alignment with L'Oreal competencies: Innovator, Strategist, People Developer, Integrator, Entrepreneur.
