Branch Manager - Retail Warehouse and Distribution Centre

About the role

A national casket and coffin manufacturer is looking for a Branch Manager for its retail warehouse and distribution centre in Centurion. The role suits someone with strong marketing and sales experience, staff supervision and asset control skills, who can grow with the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales, increase sales and bring in new customers
• Build and manage a new customer database, analyse purchase trends and maintain strong customer relationships
• Contribute to product changes and enhancements based on customer needs and market trends
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to head office
• Manage staff and assets, control stock and distribution, and discipline staff where applicable
• Manage delivery vehicles and fuel consumption, including fleet card security and vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
• Ensure correct customer invoicing and delivery, and on-time ordering from the factory
• Control branch expenses and implement strong controls and procedures

Required profile

• Strong marketing and sales experience, good communication and writing skills
• Willingness to travel and market the product range
• Valid driver's licence, honest and reliable, no criminal record
