Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor (Springs Kwatong)

About the role

Sanlam Developing Markets is seeking a Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor to promote its Retail Mass products in the Springs branch. The role involves providing sound financial advice, delivering high‑level client service, and driving cross‑selling opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on suitable funeral, education, life cover and personal accident products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage daily client appointments, walk‑ins and follow‑up activities, including payment reminders and persistence monitoring.
• Conduct due‑diligence, validate client details, submit new business and flag risks.
• Maintain client portfolios, handle policy cancellations, and provide alternative solutions.
• Report daily activities, collate weekly/monthly data and support the Retail Branch Manager with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in sales or marketing, preferably within an insurance branch.
• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; RE5 and FAIS compliance advantageous.
• Willingness to complete Class of Business training within 12 months of employment.
