Biscuits Planner – Full Time

About the role

Woolworths is looking for an experienced Planner to manage the biscuits category within its Foods division in Cape Town. The role focuses on demand planning, stock optimisation and data‑driven decision‑making to ensure the right products are available at the right time, supporting sales growth while minimising waste.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate forecasts for the biscuits range.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimise stock to maximise profitability while minimising waste.
• Collaborate with buying, supply chain and store operations teams to align supply with demand.
• Participate in assortment and space planning and contribute to long‑term tactical plans.
• Analyse KPI performance, generate reports and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
• Identify improvement opportunities using data analytics and support promotional planning.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of FMCG or planning experience; retail experience is an advantage.
• Diploma, advanced certificate or relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, retail or related field.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous) and flexibility to travel and work occasional weekends.
• Strong computer literacy with competent Excel skills.
