Bilingual Incident Management Engineer – AWS

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a bilingual Incident Management Engineer to join the Incident Detection and Response team within the ASPIRE organisation. You will work 24x7 with enterprise customers to detect, engage, and resolve critical incidents, ensuring rapid recovery of high‑impact workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor onboarded workloads around the clock and engage customers on a call bridge within 5 minutes of a critical alarm.
• Develop and maintain custom runbooks and response plans for each workload.
• Provide clear communication, emergency response, and technical resolver engagement during incidents.
• Drive incident resolution, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and own the end‑to‑end incident lifecycle.
• Collaborate with customers to improve incident prevention and recovery strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in incident management and customer ownership within a cloud or large‑scale technology environment.
• Strong analytical acumen, business judgment, and ability to dive deep into complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Self‑starter who can operate tactically and strategically with high attention to detail.
• Passion for technology and continuous learning, especially with AWS services.
