BI Analyst - Power BI Migration & Dashboards

About the role

Korridor is hiring a BI Analyst in Centurion to turn an understanding of business drivers and commercial models into data and actionable insights. The analyst works with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, design and develop reporting solutions and support decision-making. A key focus is leading the migration from Looker Studio to Power BI, building best-in-class dashboards in the Microsoft ecosystem and using AI tools such as Claude AI to speed up analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration from Looker Studio to Power BI, rebuilding and enhancing existing reports and dashboards
• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, and develop SQL data models and change requests for the Data Engineering team
• Manage Power BI data models and calculated columns, implement row-level security and workspace governance, and champion self-service reporting
• Integrate Power BI with Excel, SharePoint and Teams, and coordinate user requests and change requests
• Perform advanced ad-hoc analysis across financial, operational and commercial data, and support FP&A with modelling for budgeting and forecasting
• Use Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn) and AI tools (Claude AI, Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate analysis and automate reporting
• Gather, cleanse and transform data, maintain data models, pipelines and data dictionaries, and work with IT and Data Engineering on data availability
• Build advanced Excel models with Power Query, Power Pivot and dynamic arrays, and collaborate with business units and the Finance team

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business or a related field
• 3-5 years of proven experience in a BI or data analysis role
• Advantageous: Power BI PL-300 certification, SQL, statistics or AI courses, Python, financial reporting knowledge, and experience in a multinational or fintech environment

Required skills

• Microsoft Power BI, including data modelling, DAX and report building
• Solid SQL, including data modelling and exploratory analytics
• Advanced Excel: Power Query, Power Pivot, dynamic arrays and complex formulas
• Looker Studio or similar BI tools (migration to Power BI)
