B2B Sales Consultant - Fleet Management & IoT

About the role

This permanent position is based at the Randburg head office and sits within an established commercial technology environment. It drives market expansion in the vehicle fleet management and IoT sectors by identifying and securing strategic business opportunities. The role involves structured new business development, stakeholder engagement across all corporate levels and end-to-end pipeline management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify emerging commercial opportunities and drive new business acquisition in the corporate B2B sector
• Negotiate and interpret corporate contracts to secure long-term partnerships
• Deliver tailored solutions around specialised vehicle fleet management systems
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual installation and sales targets
• Maintain an active client database and balance pipelines so that about 20% of business comes from new clients and 80% from existing accounts
• Resolve account queries and administrative requests, and prepare corporate presentations for stakeholders
• Qualify inbound leads, build dealer, broker and fitment centre channel networks, and keep daily and weekly activity metrics
• Submit weekly, monthly and ad-hoc sales reports and oversee administrative tasks such as client quoting

Required profile

• Diploma or degree plus formal sales training certification or recognised professional sales qualification
• At least 3 years of external sales experience in corporate B2B, FMCG, pharmaceutical, IoT or telematics
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
• Desirable: direct experience with vehicle fleet management solutions or telematics networks
