Auxiliary Nurse – Home Care (Johannesburg/Pretoria)

About the role

Medicrew is seeking compassionate Auxiliary Nurses to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred nursing care in the homes of clients across Johannesburg and Pretoria. This role involves delivering professional nursing services directly at the bedside, ensuring comfort and safety for each patient.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, patient‑centred nursing care in client homes.
• Perform assessments, administer medication, and monitor vital signs according to clinical protocols.
• Document care provided and communicate updates to the healthcare team.

Required profile

• Valid 2026 SANC receipt.
• Proof of paid‑up professional indemnity insurance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Med‑Surg discipline.
• Current AHA‑endorsed Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
• Recent certified copies of ID and qualifications (within 6 months).
• Valid Police Clearance Certificate.
• Additional advantage: home‑care experience, frail‑care experience, palliative‑care certification, up‑to‑date CPR certificate, and a valid driver’s licence with reliable transport.
