Associate - Banking and Capital Markets Core Operations

About the role

Genpact is looking for an Associate to support day-to-day operational activities in Banking and Capital Markets (BCM). The role is based in South Africa, follows a standard work shift and is an office position.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operational activities in Banking and Capital Markets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in processing transactions, reconciliations and reporting tasks according to defined procedures.
• Help monitor operational risks and escalate issues in line with compliance and control guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of core operational processes.
• Maintain documentation and records related to operational activities and controls.
• Take part in periodic reviews and support audit-related activities as required.
• Stay informed about basic regulatory requirements and operational updates relevant to BCM.

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Business Analytics.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2).
• Knowledge of basic regulatory requirements and operational updates in BCM.

Required skills

• Account maintenance, cash application, credit underwriting, fraud disputes and investigations, loan servicing, personal and retail banking, risk management and wealth management.
• Banking capital markets knowledge.
