Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The luxury property in Pilanesberg is looking for an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the F&B department in delivering high‑end guest experiences. You will work closely with the F&B manager to oversee restaurant, bar and dining operations, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing all Food & Beverage operations across the property.
• Supervise restaurant, bar and dining service teams, ensuring high service standards.
• Support staff training, development and performance management.
• Handle stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination.
• Maintain hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Address guest requests and complaints professionally.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and other operational departments.
• Monitor service standards, operational efficiency and reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in a lodge or similar hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and guest relations.
• Leadership ability with staff management experience.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
