About the role

Old Mutual is seeking self‑motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as Aspiring Financial Advisers. In this entry‑level position you will support customers in achieving their long‑term financial goals by understanding their needs and delivering tailored advice.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to identify their financial objectives and challenges.
• Provide sound, compliant financial advice and recommend appropriate products.
• Develop and implement customised financial plans that align with client goals.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
• Collaborate with senior advisers and other business units to ensure a seamless client experience.

Required profile

• Self‑driven, dynamic and passionate about helping people achieve financial success.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Minimum education: NQF Level 4 – Grade 12, School Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and build lasting client relationships.
