About the role
Join the front‑desk team at an exciting Apart Hotel in uMhlanga, Durban, where you will create memorable "WOW" moments for every guest. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth check‑ins, answering enquiries and supporting the overall guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests, manage check‑ins and ensure a pleasant first impression.
- Handle phone calls, emails and messages from guests and prospective clients.
- Create bookings, process payments and coordinate with the concierge team.
- Liaise between Guest Experience, Property Managers, Operations and Concierges.
- Represent Propr professionally to clients and guests.
- Resolve daily issues collaboratively with the team.
Required profile
- Minimum 1.5 years of reception, hotel or hospitality experience.
- Based in or around uMhlanga, Durban.
- High emotional intelligence and empathy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong awareness of body language and guest cues.
- Punctual, reliable and always ready with a smile.
- Calm under pressure and highly proactive.
- Detail‑oriented team player who cares deeply about guest experience.
