Admin Clerk & Stock Controller

About the role

The Admin Clerk/Stock Controller supports the hotel and restaurant operations by managing inventory, processing supplier invoices, and ensuring that all departments have the necessary stock to meet guest expectations. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, this role balances cost control with service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Determine consumption needs with the F&B Manager and maintain appropriate stock levels across restaurant, bar, banqueting and conference areas.
• Receive, allocate and record stock deliveries, ensuring accurate placement in storage areas.
• Track and chase credit notes, deposits and returned stock.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly stock counts using the online platform and investigate any discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory data in the POS system and ensure first‑in‑last‑out rotation.
• Set and adjust par levels, monitor usage, and prepare regular analysis reports.
• Assist the financial officer with invoice capture, allocation and month‑end supplier statements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in administrative and stock control functions, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and external suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using POS and inventory management software.
