Accountant – Financial Accounting & Asset Management

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join a well‑established finance team in Centurion. The role offers exposure to core financial accounting, asset management and month‑end reporting within a fast‑paced financial services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform day‑to‑day financial accounting activities.
- Prepare and maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end reporting processes.
- Manage and account for company assets.
- Ensure accuracy of asset accounting transactions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding financial information.
Required profile
- BCom degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 1‑2 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in financial accounting and asset accounting.
- Strong reconciliation abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
