About the role
The Crazy Store is looking for a self-motivated shop assistant for its Malmesbury 2 store in the De Korenvlij shopping centre. The position is advertised as a 45-hour role and offers growth potential. Applications close on 2 November 2026 at 4:30 p.m.; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Key responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
- Help customers with product information, finding items and completing purchases.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including shelves, displays and checkout areas.
- Keep merchandise neatly packed, priced and well presented.
- Replenish stock and monitor product levels.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Follow store policies, safety procedures and loss-prevention guidelines.
- Support the team with general store duties and ad hoc tasks.
Required profile
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Six months' retail experience, which is essential.
- Team player with good communication skills and customer service.
- Positive attitude.
