About the role
Absolute Pets, the leading pet retailer in South Africa with over 200 stores, specialises in premium pet foods and accessories. It is looking for a passionate, driven Team Leader to join its growing store in Swellendam.
Key responsibilities
- Sales: achieve store sales and gross profit targets
- Visual merchandising management
- Service: show what world-class service looks like and help colleagues deliver it
- Stock: ensure the store is fully stocked, place orders accordingly, limit stock loss and shrinkage to below target levels, and oversee all admin functions
- Staff: manage all staff so they perform to expectation, act as a proud brand ambassador and lead by example
- Product knowledge: share expert knowledge of all products with the team
- Personal and team development: pursue your own growth through Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and follow the Absolute Pets culture and values
