About the role
The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily operations of a high‑volume warehouse handling steel, pipes and other heavy industrial materials. This role ensures safety, efficiency and accurate inventory control while leading a team of warehouse staff.
Key responsibilities
- Manage stock control, inventory accuracy and ERP/WMS updates.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving and logistics schedules.
- Enforce health, safety and PPE requirements, conduct risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, implementing improvements as needed.
- Lead, motivate and resolve conflicts within the warehouse team.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification and 3–5 years of warehouse management experience.
- Experience handling steel, pipes or heavy industrial materials.
- Proven ability to manage a team and drive performance.
- Valid forklift/heavy‑machinery, health‑and‑safety, and first‑aid certifications.
Required skills
- Forklift / Heavy Machinery Certification
- Health and Safety / SHEQ Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS software (e.g., SAP)
- Microsoft Office – Excel and Word
