Warehouse Assistant – Tissue Roll Wrapping

About the role
We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our paper production facility. The primary focus is to wrap tissue rolls to customer specifications while adhering to ISO standards and best operating practices.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare wrapping material and wrap reels to standard specifications.
- Label reels accurately and ensure correct tonnages are processed.
- Use plugs, bungs and side discs as required for each reel.
- Report any shortage of wrapping material or accessories to the Tally Clerk.
- Perform Tally Clerk duties during their absence.
- Assist on the winder and support tissue machine start‑up and shut‑down when needed.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- N1 Pulp and Paper or NCV Level 2.
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Paper production experience preferred.
- One month of reel‑wrapping experience preferred.
