About the role
We are looking for vibrant retail assistants for our Hout Bay store, available for casual and full‑time permanent positions. As a retail shop assistant you will manage day‑to‑day sales in‑store and carry out tasks assigned by the retail manager.
Key responsibilities
- Create and develop strong customer relationships.
- Merchandise stock and prepare promotional displays.
- Handle product management processes such as ordering, receiving, price changes, damaged goods and returns.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain a safe, clean store environment and follow loss‑prevention procedures.
- Conduct cash‑up, banking, stocktakes and provide performance updates to management.
Required profile
- Energetic, great communicator, passionate about sales, teamwork and customer service.
- Matriculation essential; minimum 1 year retail experience in fashion/footwear preferred.
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime.
