Vehicle Sales Executive

About the role

BYD Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal is looking for a Vehicle Sales Executive to join its team. The role is activity-driven and sales-prospecting, with a focus on building client relationships and reaching volume, gross profit and customer satisfaction targets set by the dealership and manufacturer.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and close sales
• Build a pipeline and database of prospective clients
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the vehicles on sale
• Work in a corporate dealer environment, reaching targets, setting goals and interacting with clients
• Provide great after-sales service
• Willingness to work extended hours

Required profile

• Matric, diploma in marketing or relevant tertiary qualification
• Valid driver's licence
• At least 3 years of vehicle sales experience
• Contactable references and 4 months of commission sheets or payslips showing sales of 8 or more vehicles per month
• Ability to work in a corporate dealer environment
• Highly motivated, energetic and determined, with excellent people skills
