Vehicle Invoicing Stock Controller

About the role

A vacancy has arisen for a Vehicle Invoicing Stock Controller at Honda and JAC Port Shepstone. The role provides quality service and meets the demands of the New/Used Vehicles Department, internally and externally, in a tactful, diplomatic and friendly manner. The employment decision will be informed by the Employment Equity Plan and Workforce Profile requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Issue order numbers, liaise with suppliers, request supplier invoices on time and invoice sold vehicles.
• Maintain harmonious working relationships with suppliers, internally and externally.
• Print vehicle reports as required by management.
• Assist with relief reception duties when required.
• Handle general vehicle administration: compile reports, update stock ledgers and vehicle master records on the Dealer Management System.
• Handle petty cash, reconcile the cash float and claim reimbursements as needed.
• File and archive vehicle documents and monthly reports.
• Support the sales team with general administration and help control the daily process in the production office.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent related qualification; a financial management diploma or certificate is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years in a dealership environment and 1 year of administrative experience.
• One to two years of stock control and production centre experience in the motor industry is an added advantage.
• Valid Code 8 or C1 driver's licence.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays and public holidays when required by management.

Required skills

• Computer literacy in Excel, Word, the Internet and email.
• Excellent administration skills.
• Good team player who can work under pressure, with reliable, friendly attitude and excellent verbal and written communication.
