About the role
We are looking for a motivated Tuckshop Assistant to support the daily operations of our on‑site shop in Olifantsfontein, where we sell Sasko Bread to staff and visitors. The role is fixed‑term and involves handling stock, maintaining a tidy environment and upholding PepsiCo’s values.
Key responsibilities
- Run the shop on a day‑to‑day basis, ensuring smooth service for customers.
- Count and reconcile stock each day, updating records accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure shelves are always stocked.
- Keep the shop and display areas clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist with weekly stock checks and update spreadsheets.
- Stay vigilant to minimise stock loss and take responsibility for discrepancies.
Required profile
- Matric qualification; Math Literacy or Mathematics preferred.
- Basic experience with Microsoft applications.
- Previous experience in fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) is an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for stock tracking and reporting.
