Treasury Controller

About the role

Our client, a leading organisation in the banking and financial services sector, is seeking an experienced Treasury Controller to join the financial leadership team. You will be responsible for covenant reporting, investor communications and regulatory submissions, ensuring full compliance with JSE Debt Listing requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver covenant reports, SENS announcements, investor communications and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with Treasury and Debt Sponsor teams to improve financial operations and investor relations.
• Develop analytics and high‑quality reports that support strategic decision‑making.
• Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies and actionable insights.
• Monitor key performance metrics and provide visualised reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting or treasury functions.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and South African financial regulations.
• Proven ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience in strategic planning, project management and negotiation.
• Adaptable to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
