About the role
A leading manufacturing organisation in Somerset West, Western Cape is seeking a motivated Management Accountant on a 12‑month contract. The role offers hands‑on exposure to operational finance, reporting, budgeting and governance within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee weekly reporting across all departments.
- Improve and standardise financial reporting processes.
- Support financial governance and compliance initiatives.
- Assist with accurate and timely month‑end reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Monitor budget performance and identify key variances.
- Participate in internal and external audit processes.
Required profile
- Completed BCom Accounting degree.
- Completed SAIPA or CIMA articles.
- 2–3 years post‑articles experience.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Manufacturing or operational finance experience advantageous.
