Trade Tested Millwright (Mpumalanga)

About the role

We are seeking a Trade Tested Millwright to lead maintenance activities at our plant in Cape Town. The role ensures continuous, high‑quality production by applying a holistic maintenance approach and may require occasional extended hours.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full plant maintenance, ensuring equipment runs immaculately and production targets are met.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans and draft detailed maintenance schedules.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to guide repairs and installations.
• Manage stock of spares, toolboxes and coordinate multiple on‑site projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar millwright or maintenance technician role.
• Technical diploma or degree in electrical fitting, millwright, or mechatronics.
• Proven ability to lead junior maintenance staff and ensure health‑and‑safety compliance.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of gearboxes, screws and related technical equipment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance planning and stock management of spares.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
