Trade Compliance Manager (Industrial Power & Automation - Hybrid Role)

About the role

You will ensure that local businesses comply with import/export trade regulations and implement the Global Trade Program. The position supports the Finance Division in the SSA region and blends on‑site and remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide periodic updates on local implementation of the Global Trade Program and regulatory changes.
• Develop and deliver export control, customs compliance, and sanctions awareness training.
• Coordinate trade compliance with daily operations, including master data and supplier qualification.
• Conduct local trade reviews and annual self‑audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Honours degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Economics, Law or related field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in trade compliance with export controls.
• Strong knowledge of regional customs regulations, international export controls and sanctions.
• Experience in free trade agreements, classification and valuation under WCO and HTS.

Required skills

• SAP‑GTS (Global Trade Management System).
• World Customs Organization (WCO) classification and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) expertise.
• Free Trade Agreements handling.
• Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification (plus).

What we offer

• Compensation up to R1,200,000 CTC per year.
