Technology Project Manager (Digital Enablement)

About the role

A global investment advisory firm focused on long-term value creation is hiring a Technology Project Manager (Digital Enablement) in Cape Town, advertised by recruiter Parvana. The role leads concurrent technology projects across digital workplace, infrastructure, cyber security and IDAM domains, with a hybrid in-office / remote arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concurrent technology projects across digital workplace, infrastructure, cyber security and IDAM domains while maintaining workstream oversight.
• Manage sprint planning, backlogs, retrospectives and continuous improvement to deliver projects end to end.
• Guide, prioritise and support project teams, defining scope and objectives with stakeholders, leads and engineers.
• Embed AI tools and automation into project management processes to improve efficiency, reporting and decision-making.
• Maintain project governance including RAID logs, budget tracking and status reporting, and resolve risks and blockers.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders and help improve the strategic delivery framework.

Required profile

• 12 to 15 years of project or programme management or consulting experience, mainly in technology-led environments, ideally in financial services or the technology industry.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments and deliver to scope and on time.
• Hands-on experience delivering projects in areas such as digital workplace, infrastructure, engineering or cyber and information security.
• Strong capability in managing and developing project resources, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present to senior and executive stakeholders.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of hybrid and agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and SAFe, with the ability to coach teams.
• Proficiency using AI tools to support planning, reporting, risk management and team productivity.
