Technical Sales Representative – Richards Bay

About the role

The Technical Sales Representative will drive sales growth for our range of electronic security solutions in the Richards Bay/Durban region. You will be responsible for identifying new prospects, presenting tailored proposals, and closing deals while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise sales and increase market share by presenting and selling the company’s products, solutions and services.
• Meet or exceed personal sales targets on a regular basis.
• Prospect new customers through canvassing and market research.
• Prepare accurate quotations that align with customer requirements.
• Close deals efficiently and ensure compliance with pricing and discount structures.
• Collaborate with technical support and product specialists when needed.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions, keeping an up‑to‑date calendar.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and nurture long‑term relationships.
• Keep demonstration equipment in safe, working order and provide product demos.
• Assist with marketing initiatives and deliver product training where appropriate.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle.
• Proven track record in sales with at least three years’ experience, preferably in the electronics sector.
• Technically capable with electronic security products.
• Computer literate.
