Tax & Accounting Specialist (Power BI, QuickBooks)

About the role

We are looking for a Tax & Accounting Specialist to join our growing finance team in Pretoria. The role supports both local and US‑based clients, requiring strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting, bookkeeping and tax preparation for a diverse client portfolio.
• Prepare, review and maintain accurate financial statements and tax submissions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and statutory requirements.
• Produce financial reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
• Reconcile accounts and handle general ledger entries in QuickBooks.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely reporting.
• Stay up‑to‑date with tax laws, accounting standards and compliance obligations.

Required profile

• SAIPA accreditation (essential).
• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or tax, preferably with exposure to international clients.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Afrikaans.
