Specialist QA Engineer – Automation & DevOps

About the role

Amidel, an IT and business consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Specialist QA Engineer to join a high‑performing DevOps team building cross‑border international payments systems for a pan‑African financial institution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for frontend and backend applications.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git and related tools.
• Create integration and automated test suites with Robot Framework, Selenium, Postman and JMeter.
• Plan and coordinate test strategies, monitor quality metrics and report results to stakeholders.
• Mentor QA resources, enforce governance processes and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software quality assurance experience, including 3+ years in automation testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field; ISTQB Test Manager certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
