Solutions Architect – Finance Systems

About the role

The client is a global investment advisory firm seeking a Solutions Architect to lead finance system transformation. The role blends strategic architecture with hands‑on delivery, working across finance, technology, security and data teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document current business operations and application landscapes.
• Design integration patterns (APIs, middleware, event‑driven) to connect upstream and downstream systems.
• Produce architecture artifacts aligned with enterprise standards and finance transformation objectives.
• Define data architecture, migration and governance strategies ensuring quality, security and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between internal teams and integration partners, managing architectural risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in IT solution architecture within large‑scale enterprises.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of security, risk and regulatory compliance in financial services.
• Strategic thinker able to align architectural decisions with enterprise‑wide objectives.
