Site Quality Lead – Northern Cape

About the role

The client, a leading consulting engineering firm, seeks an experienced Site Quality Lead to drive quality planning and implementation across construction projects in the Northern Cape. You will ensure best‑practice construction standards are followed and support efficient handover and close‑out of works.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and obtain approval for the Site Project Quality Plan in collaboration with the Project Quality Manager.
• Lead site quality awareness initiatives and train QA/QC coordinators and construction personnel.
• Participate in contractor kickoff meetings and ensure readiness for construction activities.
• Coordinate inspection and testing programs, including the development of inspection schedules and ITP reviews.
• Review contractor quality documentation and QA/QC records for compliance.
• Support operational readiness, commissioning, and the creation of site surveillance programs.
• Collaborate with global site quality managers to align standards and risk‑based surveillance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Management and field audits on EPCM projects.
• 10+ years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control and inspection/testing of construction facilities.
• Strong familiarity with national and international codes, standards, and specifications.
• Proven ability to lead quality initiatives and train multidisciplinary teams.
