Site Foreman – Development & Asset Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading Quick Service Restaurant operator in Arcadia, Pretoria, is seeking a Site Foreman who will also act as Development and Asset Manager. The role combines oversight of new builds, remodels, relocations, and the ongoing maintenance team while scouting new site opportunities for expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate new store constructions, remodels and relocations, providing input on recurring maintenance issues during scoping.
• Identify and evaluate potential new sites, verify electricity requirements and SDP’s with landlords or developers.
• Review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and remodel plans in collaboration with the Area Manager.
• Liaise with Operations to align construction timelines with opening and closing dates.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of furniture items and complete all sign‑off checklists.
• Implement and manage an integrated Facilities Management System covering routine and preventative maintenance.

Required profile

• Relevant construction or building qualification.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Site Foreman in the construction industry.
• Proven ability to read and interpret plans and BOQs.
• Experience managing staff and multiple sites simultaneously.
