About the role
2nd Hand Warehouse is looking for an outgoing, proactive and customer-service-minded shopkeeper to join its Montague Gardens showroom. The position covers sales, stock control and shop organisation, with working hours Monday to Saturday.
Key responsibilities
- Manage sales, stock taking and shop layout
- Instruct shop assistants
- Maintain excellent customer relations in-store and online
- Assist with online advertising
- Keep shop stock organised and tidy
- Communicate effectively with the team
Required profile
- Friendly and professional attitude with customers and staff
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Lives close to the Montague Gardens area
Required skills
- Good communication skills
- Good computer skills
What we offer
- Starting salary of R7,500 basic, Monday to Saturday
- Paid public holidays (as overtime)
- Overtime as needed
