About the role

A prominent financial services provider is seeking an experienced Short‑Term Insurance Advisor to join their dynamic team in Somerset West. The role focuses on managing and growing business across the short‑term insurance spectrum.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop business through existing and new opportunities across the short‑term insurance spectrum.
• Source qualified and sustainable new business and onboard new clients through compliant processes.
• Identify and develop market share by optimizing existing clientele via cross‑selling and detailed needs analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in short‑term insurance, with at least 3 years in advisory and sales of short‑term and commercial lines.
• Matric minimum; tertiary qualification advantageous; NQF level 5 with RE5 and/or RE1 certificate.
• Fit and Proper status per FSCA legislative requirements.
• Strong business network and client referral base (advantageous).

Required skills

• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Bi‑lingual in English and Afrikaans (speak, read, write).
• Computer literate in full Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
