Short-term Insurance Adviser – National Positions

About the role

The Short-term Insurance Adviser will provide professional financial advice, planning and product sales to both new and existing clients across South Africa, building long‑term relationships that foster brand loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional financial advice, planning and product sales tailored to client needs.
• Generate sustainable business, meet revenue and activity targets, and promote the Sanlam brand.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and existing client relationships.
• Conduct comprehensive client consultations, perform fact‑finding and financial needs analysis, and present tailored solutions.
• Maintain ethical, courteous client service, ensure compliance with Treating Customers Fairly, and follow up queries promptly.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification and successful completion of the FAIS regulatory examination (or registration with the FSCA for at least 24 months).
• Proven ability to meet production targets, manage compliance and risk, and build strong client relationships.
• Effective communication, tech‑savvy, action‑oriented and persuasive interpersonal skills.
