About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Shop Assistants/Cashiers to join our retail team in Sandton. The role involves providing friendly service, handling transactions and maintaining an organized sales floor.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a great shopping experience.
- Assist shoppers in locating products and answer queries or complaints.
- Process cash, card payments, lay‑bys and refunds accurately.
- Balance tills and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Maintain correct pricing, product tagging and stock availability on the sales floor.
- Participate in stock takes and general housekeeping duties.
- Monitor for shoplifting or fraudulent activity and report suspicious behaviour.
Required profile
- Minimum education: Grade 12.
- Fluent English communication; additional languages are a plus.
- High energy, tenacious, motivated and target‑driven.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
