SHE Facilitator – Supply Chain (Boksburg)

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Facilitator to join the Supply Chain function at its Boksburg site. Reporting to the SHE Manager and supporting the site SHE Coordinator, the role focuses on implementing and maintaining an effective SHE management system to minimise occupational health, safety and environmental risks.

Key responsibilities

• Compile, revise and maintain SHE standards, procedures and related documentation to ensure compliance with Unilever SHE policies.
• Maintain a central database of standard operating procedures, legislation, statutory records and remedial actions from incident reports, audits and inspections.
• Participate in safety inspections, HAZOP studies and Management of Change discussions.
• Interpret SHE legal requirements, ensure regulatory compliance and prepare legal appointments where required.
• Support continuous improvement of SHE performance across the site.

Required profile

• Experience in SHE administration within a manufacturing or supply‑chain environment.
• Ability to manage and update databases of SOPs, legislation and incident actions.
• Familiarity with safety inspection processes, HAZOP methodology and Management of Change.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a safety‑first culture.
