SEO / GEO Executive – Support US Team

About the role

Performance.io Ltd. is seeking an inquisitive SEO / GEO Executive to join its fast‑growing healthcare agency. Based in South Africa, you will support the US SEO / GEO managers and help shape strategic recommendations for top‑tier pharma clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Global SEO / GEO team and India offshore to deliver technical audits, schema markup recommendations, LLM/AIO audits and quarterly reports.
• Maintain regular communication with US SEO / GEO managers and account managers to prioritize and meet deliverable deadlines.
• Contribute insights for new business pitches and strategic recommendations.
• Educate internal teams on the latest SEO and GEO industry developments, especially AI‑driven search trends.
• Assist in preparing materials for regular client touchpoints.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of SEO / GEO experience, preferably within an agency environment.
• Solid understanding of how SEO and GEO functions intersect.
• Basic knowledge of technical SEO concepts across domains.
• Experience supporting SEO budget creation and proposal development.
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with strong initiative.
