Legal SEO Content Writer & Strategist

About the role

LegalBuzz is looking for a Legal SEO Content Writer & Strategist to design and execute content programmes for law‑firm clients across the UK, Australia, the USA and Canada. Working remotely on a full‑time basis, you will blend legal knowledge with proven SEO techniques to produce copy that ranks, converts and generates client enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive content strategies – keyword research, search‑intent mapping, topic clusters and editorial calendars – for a portfolio of law‑firm clients.
• Write and optimise service pages, location pages, practice‑area hubs, FAQs and supporting articles that meet legal compliance and resonate with stressed users.
• Refresh under‑performing content to achieve measurable traffic and lead improvements.
• Implement on‑page SEO elements such as titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking and schema markup.
• Structure content for visibility in traditional search and AI‑driven platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews).
• Monitor rankings, traffic and enquiry metrics and report results to clients.
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand their practice areas, unique selling points and target audience.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing legal content for law firms, preferably in the UK.
• Portfolio of published legal articles or pages that can be presented and discussed.
• Deep understanding of how legal content drives leads and enquiries.
