Performance Marketing Specialist (SEO & Google Ads)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Specialist to own and execute SEO and Google Ads strategies for our portfolio of local service clients. Working remotely, you will collaborate with account managers, content writers, and technical SEO developers to drive measurable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own monthly SEO roadmaps and local SEO strategies, including Google Business Profile optimisation.
• Conduct keyword, competitor, and AI‑search research to inform content planning and on‑page optimisation.
• Produce detailed content briefs, review content, and brief technical SEO developers on larger recommendations.
• Plan and execute link‑building, internal linking, and authority‑building campaigns.
• Build, manage and optimise Google Ads Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, including keyword research, budget allocation and bid strategy.
• Analyse performance data, monitor rankings, traffic, conversions and lead quality, and continuously refine both organic and paid strategies.
• Provide recommendations for landing pages and use insights from one channel to improve the other.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in SEO and Google Ads.
• Strong background in local SEO for service‑based businesses.
• Proven ability to design and execute paid‑search campaigns from scratch.
• Experience working remotely and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
