Senior Tax Manager – US Tax (Remote)

About the role

Our client, a leading US‑based tax and advisory practice, is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join their remote team. The role is client‑facing and focuses on delivering strategic tax guidance and managing complex US tax matters for a portfolio of corporate and individual clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of US tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120 and 1120S.
• Provide strategic tax advice and solutions to senior client stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor junior tax staff, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for tax inquiries.
• Stay current with US tax legislation and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of US tax experience, including complex advisory work.
• Demonstrated management or leadership experience.
• Professional certifications such as CPA and/or EA.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with UltraTax software.
• In‑depth knowledge of US tax forms (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S).
