Senior Receptionist (Gym Front Desk)

About the role

The Senior Receptionist will lead the Welcome Desk at Fourways Mall, ensuring every member receives a warm, professional first impression. This role blends front‑desk operations with member engagement and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Welcome Desk, including cash handling and stock control.
• Manage member and staff access, handling overrides and security protocols.
• Assist with club administration tasks and resolve member complaints promptly.
• Conduct group exercise classes when required.
• Train and mentor reception staff to maintain high service standards.

Required profile

• Proven ability to motivate and lead a front‑desk team.
• High level of administrative accuracy and honesty.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels.
• Energetic, shift‑flexible, and reliable transport.
• Previous experience in a front‑desk or welcome‑desk role, preferably in a fitness or hospitality setting.
