Senior Pattern Maker – Apparel Production

About the role

Our client, a leading apparel manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Senior Pattern Maker to join their design and production team. You will translate design concepts into accurate, production‑ready patterns, ensuring fit, quality and efficiency across the product range.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grade patterns from sketches, specifications or existing garments.
• Create and modify digital patterns using Lectra Modaris and Diamino.
• Conduct fittings, adjust patterns based on feedback and ensure they meet quality and sizing standards.
• Collaborate with designers, garment technologists and production teams to resolve fit and construction issues.
• Maintain accurate pattern records, version control and optimise fabric utilisation through marker making.
• Mentor junior pattern makers where required.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Pattern Making, Fashion Design or Clothing Technology.
• 5‑7 years of pattern‑making experience, including at least 4 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven hands‑on experience with Lectra Modaris and Diamino.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, grading and fit.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet critical production deadlines.
