About the role

The Senior Manager (Midland) – Revenue Management will lead the revenue functions for the Midland Region of Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality. This senior position is responsible for overseeing accounting, administrative processes and staff capacity to ensure effective revenue collection.

Key responsibilities

Manage, organise, plan and control the operational and working functions of the Midland Region – Revenue Management.
Control, oversee and provide operational assurance for all accounting and administrative processes relating to the Midland Region.
Provide pertinent communication, liaison and interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain an overview of staff capacity and management within the Midland Region.

Required profile

B Com Degree in Accounting.
Valid code B/EB driver’s licence.
Computer literate.
National Treasury minimum competence requirements (or to be obtained within 18 months of appointment).
Six years of experience, with at least three years at management level.
