Senior Finance & Accounts Officer

About the role

She Recruits is seeking a Senior Finance & Accounts Officer to own day‑to‑day finance activities for its international operations. The role is hands‑on, focusing on payments, banking, invoicing, debtor management and overall financial administration across multiple currencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage debtors, client payments and payment schedules.
• Prepare and issue monthly client invoices, following up on outstanding amounts.
• Load and coordinate payments across several bank accounts and currencies.
• Process and approve invoices using internal finance systems.
• Review monthly fee invoices, allowances, advances and related expenditures.
• Oversee company credit‑card spending, top‑ups and monthly reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Finance and Business Intelligence teams to ensure accurate billing.
• Support preparation of management accounts and budgets.
• Maintain accurate financial records and meet transaction deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve payment, billing and reconciliation queries.
• Liaise with banks, clients and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Provide finance and administrative support to senior management and the wider international Finance team.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of finance or accounts experience (more experienced candidates welcome).
• Qualification or certificate in Finance, Accounting or a related field is advantageous.
• Hands‑on experience with payments, bank accounts, invoicing, debtors and reconciliations.
• Experience with multiple currencies or international transactions is a plus.
• Strong understanding of management accounts and budgets.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
