About the role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Financial Manager of a family office based in northern Johannesburg. The role covers the full spectrum of financial operations, from daily transactions to month‑end reporting and strategic budgeting, across a diverse portfolio that includes mining, property development, game farming and philanthropy.
Key responsibilities
- Treasury and banking management
- Payroll administration and related compliance
- Accounts payable and receivable processing
- Asset and foundation management
- Month‑end financial reporting and preparation of financial statements
- Budget preparation and monitoring
- Compliance and tax coordination
Required profile
- Accounting degree
- SAIPA or SAICA articles completed or in progress
- Proven experience in senior accounting roles within complex, multi‑entity environments
Required skills
What we offer
- Competitive remuneration up to R480,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
