School Receptionist – Front Desk

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for parents, learners, visitors and staff at Reddford House The Hills. You will create a welcoming, child‑friendly atmosphere while supporting the smooth operation of daily school activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet parents, learners, visitors and staff in a warm, professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming calls and emails promptly.
• Provide information on admissions, school procedures, events and daily operations.
• Assist with enrolment paperwork and maintain accurate learner, parent and staff records.
• Prepare and distribute newsletters, notices and other communications to parents.
• Monitor the reception area to ensure it remains welcoming and organised.
• Maintain filing systems and handle confidential information appropriately.
• Prepare reports, registers and other documentation as required.
• Provide basic first‑aid assistance and notify parents when learners are unwell.
• Support arrival and dismissal procedures to ensure learner safety.
• Assist with coordination of photographs, special events, concerts and celebrations.

Required profile
