Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative will work from our Phoenix KZN branch, driving the sales process to increase market share and achieve revenue targets. You will engage with existing and prospective clients, understand their needs, and present solutions that align with our product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for new product introductions.
• Collaborate with internal functions to meet sales objectives.
• Create sales presentations, proposals, and timely sales reports.
• Conduct market, competitor and customer research to identify opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and service agreements.
• Maintain accurate customer records in automated systems.
• Follow up on laboratory tests, assist with deliveries and debt collection.
• Participate in stock takes and budget preparation.

Required profile

• Completed Grade 12 education.
• Computer literate, especially proficient with Excel.
• External sales experience is advantageous, particularly in key‑account management, coatings, chemicals or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong numerical ability to understand costings, margins and commercial terms.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
