Sales Intern

About the role

Greenro Solutions is looking for a Sales Intern in Midrand to support its sales and estimating teams. The intern helps with customer enquiries, quotations, cost calculations and pricing analysis, and assists in finding new business opportunities and keeping customer relationships strong.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales and estimating teams with customer enquiries
• Prepare quotations and cost estimates
• Carry out cost calculations, pricing analysis and sales administration
• Help identify new business opportunities and maintain customer relationships

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12)
• N4-N6 Certificate in Electrical Engineering, or a National Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Management, Cost and Management Accounting, or Engineering
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, administration, procurement or estimating is an advantage
• Academic projects or practical training in costing, budgeting or quotations is beneficial

Required skills

• Basic understanding of sales processes and customer service principles
• Basic knowledge of cost estimation, pricing and quotation preparation
• Understanding of direct costs, indirect costs, labour, materials and overheads
• Ability to use spreadsheets and perform basic calculations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications
• Good numerical, analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
